I’m finally getting around to writing the blog posts, the Foster’s wedding is the perfect place to start :,)
I’ve known Vivienne for more than half my life from church. We were pen pals at some point. In the same choir along with her older sister at another time. She’s the sweetest, most genuine girl you’ll meet and always has a bright smile on her face. I had the honor of taking her graduation photos and, now, a couple years later, her WEDDING photos!! As a bride, she was just as relaxed and happy as usual!
I asked Micah and her to share part of their story:
Vivienne first got to know Micah well in 2015 when her family helped them move back to Iowa in a single day. She had never had so much fun or laughed so hard. When she whipped out a pocket knife to cut a box, Mr. Foster made a comment about her marrying one of his sons. Micah and Vivienne both blushed and silently determined not to let that happen….God had other ideas. In December of 2018, Vivienne and her siblings visited Iowa and became best friends after a week of late nights, ice skating, plays, and many more magical winter moments. The group started a Snapchat group they would chat in daily. Micah and Vivienne started their own chats and became close friends (maybe a little closer than either would like to admit early on ;)) Micah asked to date Vivienne on March 8th, 2020. Vivienne was cautious because she didn’t want to ruin their friendship. Again, God had other ideas, so on May 5th, 2020 Vivienne happily said yes to dating her best friend. Thanksgiving 2020, Micah took Vivienne to see the house he had just bought to be their future home. Afterward, he stopped on Evergreen Ave, a dirt road where they had their first dance and proposed. She cried through the whole thing and to this day doesn’t remember a single word of his speech except, “Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife”. Vivienne said yes and the rest is history!
